About us
Omniscale was founded in early 2009 by Dominik Helle and Oliver Tonnhofer in Oldenburg, Germany. Omniscale is specialized for fast geographical maps and the acceleration of existing geospatial data infrastructures.
Omniscale has experience in the development of WebGIS and the implementation of OGC standards with a strong focus on open source.
In addition, Omniscale is not only a user but also developer of open source geospatial software. Omniscale is the creator of the open source projects MapProxy and Imposm and also contributes to several other open source projects.
Omniscale is involved in national and international trade shows and conferences. Whether as an exhibitor or as a sponsor and participant at the FOSS4G and FOSSGIS.
